So I took a risk to improve my braking on my ST and I bought these off of E-bay.
They are direct OEM repalcement, Cross drilled and slotted rotors for the front My Webpage SO far they work pretty good, but I have noticed that my brakes sometimes smell like they are burnt. Im not too sure yet, so I will update this page as I drive and brake my car more. |

Are they a 'proper' make that are made cross drilled or are they a normal set that have been cross drilled after they've been manufactured? I've heard stories of the drilled after manufacture ones shattering.
Also they are normally coated in a film to prevent them corroding while they are on the shelf, you will probably just be wearing that film off mate. Should stop smelling after a while (unless you are braking really hard all the time - then it'll be your pads!) |
