when i'm going 45+ mph and if i push in the brake, the brake sometimes goes in half way and then finally starts braking. i lift off the brake and push back in and its fine. anybody know what the deal is? i dont think i should drive the car til i get it fixed even tho i just got new clutch frown.gif

Might be the master cylinder goin', that's what happened to mine a year ago.

It feels like its not catching the brake and eventually it feels like you're sliding on ice.

Glad I have a 5spd, I learned to downshift real quick after that. Got to the point where it was just about the only way to stop the car.
