my st is starting to idle ruff and it gets bad when i hit the brake or have the ac on the car has a
lot of miles i and its maken a slite tickn sound and it puts out a puff of grey smoke but just when i first start it if it goes im going to take out a lone and put another in it does any one know were to get a good new 7afe

you dont need a new engine lol.

you're burning a little oil past the valve stem seals, not uncommon.

you're idling rough, just regap the plugs back to specs.






to slow the leaky seals, suck a little trans fluid into the intake manifold and then crank the engine a couple times to get it all over the valve stems and seals. let that sit for about 24 hours. that will help to soften the seals and make them pliable again.
when you change the oil, add about 1/2 QT of trans fluid about 100 miles before you change oil with every change, that'll help to keep the seals soft.


ive been doing the above and ive stopped burning oil from the valve seals.
