ever just want to punch some "domestic lover" ? Options

so here is my story... while im still good and pissed about it

i go to a best buys. park my car, got inside for 10min and come back out. try to start the car....NOTHING. it just wont start. so here i am trying to think of what it could be and do some ghetto parking lot mechanics to figure out the problem. a few of the car guys from best buy come out to try to help out. all cool guys that own jap cars. then some customer shows up out of nowhere. stands around ... and starts to throw little comments out. like " oh thats the problem with 4cyl cars" . "you wouldnt have this issue with an american car". so i say to him " oh really ? i never knew domestics were the realiable ones" . then he starts saying how he has a 67 mustang at home that would blow the doors off my car. so, right now im thinking, wtf? this is not the ****ing time or the place to be talking **** to me. i was ready to punch the guy out. so trying to be calm about it ....i say " dood, you clearly dont know anything about cars, let alone about my car or what it can do". the guy says some more ****, and then gets into ......A TOYOTA CAMRY! ...and best of all... hes in the bitch seat and his girlfriend is driving. hahahahaha

so i start going off about what an idoit we was for trying to talk crap about jap cars and yet hes getting into one. then some other guy walks up and starts saying.... " you know, you shouldnt talk bad about that guy" . i looked at the guy and said "some asshole tries to talk **** about how much better his car is when im having problems, and you think im the one out of line? that guy can take his imaginary mustang and go f ck himselft".... so the guy walks away after i said that, and ....... GETS INTO THE SAME CAMRY! HAHAHAAHAH man, sometimes i dont understand people

Its funny, where I live theres lots of that.

American this, displacement that.....and plenty of talk of, "my stepdads cousins uncles fathers grandpappys Chevy Vega with a 450 big block" or something of the like. Usually when this type hears me talking about cars, they think if they bust out the domestic card its the easy way to show vehicular dominance over someone, AKA tiny unit disorder.

Unfortunately for them I usually say something like, "yea, domestic is good stuff.....I worked on my brothers 9 second Camaro yesterday", and they usually don't know what to say to that. You show that you respect both, but you prove that their BS tactics, lack of technical abilities and know-it-all attitude are stupid and they shut up right away. I find that most people who talk trash are EXACTLY like what Art was talking about, they drive a junk car and just want to feel superior when they see you sporting something impressive.

It takes a little charisma to outwit people like that, usually they're not very intellegent and have nothing to show for all their talk. They can like what they want, but I'll stick to the feel of a tight and balanced and hellacously quick turbo Japanese car....thank you.
