I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, but I'm a huge fan of the clear bra made with 3M material. At most angles you can't tell it's there, and it prevents those annoying chips on your hood and the leading edges of your fenders. I also had the guy do my side view mirrors and under the door handles where your fingernails scratch the paint. I bought my Scion tC new, and took it straight there to have it done. I'm waiting to repaint before I have my Celica done. You can find them in the phone book and they cost less than 200 dollars usually. If you want the bumper done, too, it costs more, but I just went with the metal parts. It was about the same cost to get the bumper wrapped (lots of curved surfaces make it expensive) as it is to repaint it if the rock chips get really bad. A little history on the clear bra: 3M created it for the Air Force during the first Gulf War. We were having problems with our fighters and helicopters wings getting chipped up from the sand blowing around on the ramp with the jet blast of aircraft moving around. 5 years later they decided to market it to protect cars.
