 Removing the interior dash components |

So...i want to paint all teh lil inserts in my car...the door hadles, the air vents, all that stuff.....but im not sure about how to take them off, without damaging anything...are there lil screws somewhere? or do i jsut like prop it off??

First remove all the screws. there should be like 4 or 5 i can think of right now including the one in the interior door handle. Look under the door and around the rear of it. there should be black clips. Push those in and then pop them out. that should be it i think. after you remove that then there should be one screw that needs to be removed to get the panel you are talking about off. What I did was just slip a very thin screwdriver under the side of the panel. Then slide the screwdriver down to the bottom of the panel, and then pop it up from the bottom. |
