soon need to buy a portable PC (not a Mac
 ). anyone have suggestions? please quote features, not pricing since the Corp will foot the bill  .

get sonys new vaio, by far the best on the market, it uses Blu-Ray dvds, has the geforce 7900 video card (256 megs) 1 gig of ram, 200 gig hd, intel t2500 dual core. Even tho i despise intel chipset, its a freakin amazing PC.
