on ebay if i was gona buy some car parts how would i know that its good. cause i havent really used it that much and i hear of all these scams and stuff. is that really common or not so much. also how do i know that the stuff would fit onto our cars?

i mean how would i know that there are no defects in it? like hypothetically if i bought and engine how do i know its good and that its not about to break down?

Find out about the engines seller before buying(do some research). And like Joe p3t said, look for feedbacks and percentage rate of the seller. And don't be discouraged about 1 or 2 negative feedback of the seller. It's common to see those.
