OK, the general problem with putting a turbo on is that the Celica (non-GT4) is Front Wheel Drive. Generally manufacturers have been hesitant to put a lot of power into these sort of vehicles with the exception of Chrysler's new PT Cruiser Turbo which I believe has somewhere around 220 horsies. The distinguishing feature of the GT-4 is not only it's turbo but also 4-wheel drive. So ya, the ST's body would probablly more than likely not twist, but that's not the issue because this turbo is not built for the ST's 1.8 liter engine. Anyway, I live in Texas and as far as I know, if someone says that all turbos from Texas suck, that's a very broad statement as well as a bad stereotype, since Texas is freakin huge and diverse as hell.
