Well, finally, I got something I've been wanted for some time now:
I'll have better pics at a later date, but this will do for now: Springfield XD-9 Service Model ![]() 9mm, autoloading, semi-automatic, 15+1 capacity, hammerless, full handle, 4" barrel. This is my first handgun, and I was stuck between this and a Glock 17. Essentially, they are the same thing. After shooting both, I was more consistant with this model, and it was also more comfortable. Plus, people won't think I bought a gun just because it's what police carry. Anyway, I know some of you out there have firearms, so let's see them. This particular one will have a few mods by the time I am finished, but it will also have some buddies joining it. -John- -------------------- |

QUOTE(saleeka @ Jul 14, 2006 - 6:28 PM) this is such a lame question I know, but what exactly is a desert eagle? Edit- nevermind, thanks google... On another note, i would love to know why my dad even has a "hand cannon" in the first place... look at the 2nd pic on the 1st page, thats a 50. cal desert eagle, i'll do a compairison later so you can see how big it really is. Its not really a handgun, its more of a personal cannon, lol. But ya Myn, you did do pretty decent for still being 'new' to shooting. Whats fun to do is setup a target at about 25 ft. away, and make little red dots in certain places on the body to see if you can hit em. I like close range targets better than long range, simply because handguns arent made to be long range weapons. -------------------- To live, is to suffer
To survive, thats to find meaning, in the suffering.... ![]() |
