Ok, I have a 91 Alltrac, and i want to do an engine swap to it cuase its not running and it seems like it would just be cheaper to drop another engine in. However, all i can find are JDM engines for sale. I live in California, so i can't get a JDM engine legalized here since it wont pass the visual testing due to no EGR. But is it possible to take the head and intake manifold off of a USDM 3sgte and attach it to a JDM block, and have everything work the same? Cuase i just cannot find a USDM engine anywhere. Well actually, i just bought another one, but it doesn work.

Would you be interested in maybe selling a broken 3sgte? Long way to ship to me though. You should be able to just switch valve covers and intake manifolds or maybe just throttle bodies for the USDM to JDM motors. That's were the EGR valve usually is. You don't have to hook it up. Just put it there and plug it to make it look like it's doing something.
