Does anyone know how to test the speedo sensor to see if its bad, or if I have a short in my wiring. My speedo just all the sudden stopped working and I'm trying to figure out if I have a short or if my speedo sensor went bad. Also is there a fuse for the speedo sensor?
Oh yea the rest of my gauges are working fine just my speedo stopped working and I have a code 42(speedo code). |

the problem with mine was that the glow gauges were not glued down at the time. they seemed to work fine, but there must have been some drag on the needle that over time wore out whatever spring is in there. i took the glow gauges off and it didint help . the problem was fixed when i replaced my speedo for a new one.
