omg.. this is the first time in my life i got scammed.. (@*&^(*@^#(*@(@%#*(^@%#O&@%#&@(#^&@(*#@%#@#
i was @ the local best buy to buy some packing peanuts to pack something i was shipping... then 2 guys in a red gmc van-like-suv came up to me with a whole bunch of audio equipment in the back showed me a Divinci D-6 audio system saying it was worth 3k... they even had a magazine showing it was worth 3k... they said their boss overloaded the truck w/o marking invoice and so they had a few extra systems which they sold. I kept insisting i didn't want it and they wouldn't stop bothering me. the guy kept talking some more stuff, saying he sold a few before me and showed me a wad of cash... i dunno y.. that bastard just kept talking and showed me an open box sample.. and somehow... i became gullable and fell for it >< ended up wasting $400CAD i'm banging my head against my desk right now for being so stupid and falling for such a cheap trick.. i should've saw it coming when they said the kicker amp in their car was worth 1k... @(*&(*!@^%(!*^%(@*!^%@(*!%@(&!^%(*&@^%@ i tried calling a few friends during this and no1 was home.. then after i called another friend and the first thread he found was this: http://www.scamshield.com/Sighting.asp?sta...anada&article=1 @!(*&(*@((*&(^#**&#(@%#(*@(*@&#*(@&#*)@#^(*@#@(*#^(*^(@^*#@ man... i got owned so badly  i guess @ least the boxes aren't empty... i just hope they actually work... since i read they are utter CRAP... i guess if they do work i'll just use them... to remind me not to be so greedy and gullable in the future =( i just had to vent i guess i jsut got greedy... forgot the old saying if it's too good to be true, it probably is... in the back of my mind i kept thinking thinking @ most they would be stolen.. i didn't expect they'd just be utter crap >< dammit... i ahve the guy's cell fone #.. is there anything i can do? or would the police just say "hey, u paid for it and u got the product... nothing we can do" This post has been edited by elvasoshexai: Jul 21, 2006 - 4:27 PM -------------------- |
