I'm gearing up to patch up some dings on my aging celica and get it resprayed all over with new silver paint and clearcoat finish.
Problem is, I have always liked the look of the '96-'99 Celica front bumper more than the '94-'95 front end... I don't like that toothy smile mine has as much as I like the newer front bumper. How much of a pain would it be to swap bumper covers? Can I just get the bumper cover and the signal light assemblies for it or is there more beneath the cover that I need to worry about? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated! |

I did this myself and its easy as Batman said, straight swap. But if you want foglights you'll need the matching later style ones (and brackets) the old ones won't fit right.
-------------------- Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill. JDM facelift tail lights. clear sidelights. Retro-fit A/C conversion. APEX performance springs. Remus exhaust. K&N performance filter. KYB excel G shocks.
Hyundai coupe Mk 3 (US Tiburon) leather seats. Gen 7 s/wheel. SR black vinyl door cards. Late spec spoiler-less tailgate with 3rd brake light. |
