Is it possible to remove the steering wheel and align it so its straight. Mine never got aligned right when it was hooked back up, don't ask, and its driving me nuts.

i didnt need a puller. just remove the 19mm bolt from the center. push the wheel up with your knees while at the same time hitting the side-back of the wheel with your hands and it'll come off. or lift it with ur knees and at the same time pull real hard. be careful with your face. lol. but yeah, goodluck.

yep thanks the puller was awesome so easy, i got my sterring to line up just fine, you jsut have to read and match the red arrows on the stock sterring wheel adapter, well looks i'll be using the puller again soon, cuz i will be installing the passegner side airbag and ahve to pull out the whole dash sigh, well their goes one weekend but it's worth lol QUOTE(illneversellmycelli @ Jul 21, 2006 - 12:39 PM) QUOTE(JoKeRkId613 @ Jan 5, 2006 - 4:18 PM) i didnt need a puller. just remove the 19mm bolt from the center. push the wheel up with your knees while at the same time hitting the side-back of the wheel with your hands and it'll come off. or lift it with ur knees and at the same time pull real hard. be careful with your face. lol. but yeah, goodluck. hey after you got the 19mm bolt off, you wear able to pull the old stering off, man mine is not budging!!! -------------------- ![]() |
