 Removing power steering |

Im getting ready to do alittle work on my car, and I was thinking of removing the power steering. For weight reduction, and free power. Has anyone ran the celicas without power steering? If you have how do you like it? How did you do it, my integra I took the pump out and essentially looped the 2 lines with a T in them with a reservior on it to allow for the preasure to be reduced. Any advice? thx

its not fun for one...no power steering really sucks if its your daily driver and you don't take it to the track....then don't do it..you don't "gain" enough to justify a pain in the arse time driving around w/o it..not to mention our racks arn't designed to go without power
