 Removing power steering |

Im getting ready to do alittle work on my car, and I was thinking of removing the power steering. For weight reduction, and free power. Has anyone ran the celicas without power steering? If you have how do you like it? How did you do it, my integra I took the pump out and essentially looped the 2 lines with a T in them with a reservior on it to allow for the preasure to be reduced. Any advice? thx

its only worth it in a VERY light car (was fun in my friends old old 318) otherwise your gonna spend any moment that could have been enjoying your new HP cursing your steering wheel for being so hard to move
