^ very diff, due to the size of guages appose to thoes subs you cant do it that way, it wont turn out very good, best off buying a a pillar guage pod and molding it.

Sorry mate, but didn't you describe virually the same thing that the sub guy did earlier on? Other than using a wooden ring, use the gauge pod?
