I thought maybe we could make some sort of list of cleaning products you swear by and would recommend to everyone.
Prestone interior cleaner- because it actually cleans the seats. My seats are back to factory look from this stuff. It does wonders! Meguires paint cleaner- a must before a polish and wax. alright.. someone show me a good claybar how to site.. im tired of my dull paint.. im going to do a "dawn" car wash, claybar, cleaner wax, buff, gold class wax

Actually, if you want to get it down to the best surface to start with, wash with dawn, claybar, and wash with dawn again. High alkaline detergents like dawn will cut any old wax buildups off of the paint surface. Granted it's not something you want to do each week, but a couple washings a year with dawn isn't going to hurt anything. Formulated car washes, while great on your paints surface, merely clean any dirt off the surface, and won't tear all the old waxes and junk off. -------------------- |
