So today, I'm driving around, like I usually do, and I hear a familar and unwanted clunking when I brake, as well as some higher pitched irregularly spaced noises.
I think my right rear wheel bearing is shot. Again. I replaced it a little over 1K ago, and the aforementioned noises were present before I did it, and magically disappeared after. My hope is that I'm just retarded, the bearing is fine, nothing's on the actual axle is loose, and I just need to replace my worn struts/sway bar bushing/something else not expensive. I jacked 'er up after I got home, wiggled the tires, sure enough, the right one's got a little play, and the left one's tight as <insert vulgar term here>. Any suggestions?? When I replaced it a month ago, I just bought a wheel bearing, and ended up paying almos the price difference of a wheel bearing vs bearing and hub assembly for a shop to press it. Shiza, I'm going to go punch a wall or something. -------------------- Andrew
