I have shaved handels I assume thats what you mean, I have a remote with a button for both driver side and pass side. kits are availible in a few places try andysautosport or ebay, I peaced mine together from a cheapo ebay kit and actuators from car-toys. there easy to install for the most part but its takes very good alignment skill to get the doors to pop right, have to alight the cable that pulls the metel rod (that the handel would normaly pull) with just the right amount of slack so that the actuator can get the momentum it needs to pull the latch all the way out, to litlte and it wont pull just hit it and stick and to much and it wont pull the latch far enough to disengage. I also have emergance buttons so if my remote dies I can still pop the door, there hidden on the car where I can get to them. a manual one would require a cable to be run from the latch though the door to wherever you put the lever, this would be way to much work to set up your better off just using electronic emergancy button (that is placed right in the power line to the door between the actuator and the remote contorl unit) mine are done so that no only can I use it if my remote dies but I can connect a small batt to it if the car batt dies to still get it open.
hope that is the info your looking for, feel free to ask anything you want about em, I've have mine for over a year and still very happy with it but it does take mantanane every so often to ensure it still opens the door good, over time they creap out of alignment and have to be reajusted to get the best pop action. also you have to put the "popper" in the door sil (the back of the door where the paint codes are) to get the spring open, just pulling the latch does not open it enough to grab and pull it open, I have 45 lb poppers so that it shoves the door out about a .5/1 ft. -------------------- ![]() |
