So it looks like the previous owner took out the resonator and both cats. With the 3.5" dual tip magnaflow exhaust, it get fairly loud and a little be raspy >3k. Any suggestions for a decent resonator?
I should try to find one that's 2.25 in/out, right? Engine is stock 5sfe, so I suppose more back pressure is better. Is there anything to be gained by getting a hi-flow one? thx for the help. |

your exhaust is a tiny bit loud, but mine is super quiet (i think my cat is plugged though). i dunno what you should do? maybe see if someone's selling a factory one from here or something, i dunno? -------------------- ![]() |

You can try going to the summit racing website and order a Magnaflow resonator muffler and a Magnaflow catalytic converter. You can browse through to see what length and inlet/outlet size you need for the resonator as well as the converter. It will tone down your exhaust a bit and get rid of your raspy sound from your rear muffler. It helped alot for my celica
