94 Supra for $8000 ... strange? Options

So was on autotrader.ca and I found a 94 Supra for $8000 and I thought that was a typo. I emailed the guy and he said the car is in Florida and he would need to ship it to Canada. I've been seeing a lot of stories of cars being flooded by the hurricanes and being resold .... could this be one. I think it's too good to be true, here's some pics 94 Supra

Theres about a thousand scams at any given time out there on MKIV 93-98 Supras, god only knows how many gullable young kids have been lured into them. :thumbdown:

Honestly, the only way to buy a Supra is to look at it in person or outsmart the scammer by demanding certain shots, VIN number for Carfax, or actually drive the car, or buy it from a reputable site like SupraTrader.com from somebody ONLY after you've driven it or checked it out well. If you see the price is anything below like 11 grand, its probably fake or a scam.

With things like this its always buyer beware.....and if it sounds too good to be true then I can assure you it is. Otherwise, we'd all be selling our cars and buying Supras instead.
