Ok guys. I have a 95 Celica ST and I am using a short ram 3" custom intake design very very similar to Injen IS Short Ram Intake for 6gc celicas. I have read that I have better gain out of Cold Air so I've been designing how I am specifically going to have this down. Well... since I don't have a GT celica, I can't take out my driver side high beam and create a ram air intake out of the whole. So, what I plan on doing is using a INTERCOOLER as my filter. In other words, I'm going to mount the intercooler at the front and custom pipe it to my throttle body. And I'll cover up the other side of the intercooler with a cap for the whole. That way, it is cold air / ram air intake. Do you guys think this would work? Any suggestions? I mean, I plan on turbo charging the engine anyway.

thats what Manny is trying to say. Your throttle response would be so bad that it would pretty much defeat the purpose of the cold air intake. I have the cold air intake mod and my response is ok but youre talking about alot more piping.
