im getting the all too familiar sound of something rubbing as the car spins, now im assuming its the rear brakes since those are the only things ive done stuff to.
what could this be? on my SHO it was dragging because of a bad brake line but these rear brakes were super easy to bleed and the bleeding process was not painful at all, much better than the other times ive bled brakes. im thinking maybe the rotors are bad? they were not looking to hot when i put them on but i still put them on for budget reasons, i figured i had to atleast see if they were bad before replacing them. i dont however see how this could cause a dragging type noise coming from the rear. tomorrow im gonna go for a drive with my buddy in it so he can try and diagnose the sound with his head out the window or something. maybe its something as easy as the parking brake being too tight but when the car was up in the air i could spin both tires without hearing anything. |

if the rear wheels spin freely, see if the backing plate is touching the rotor. its very easy to bend them when doing brake work
