Im getting ready to do alittle work on my car, and I was thinking of removing the power steering. For weight reduction, and free power. Has anyone ran the celicas without power steering? If you have how do you like it? How did you do it, my integra I took the pump out and essentially looped the 2 lines with a T in them with a reservior on it to allow for the preasure to be reduced. Any advice? thx

Take it from someone who drove for 1/2 a year without P/S. It is not fun at all. Turning corners was harder then he11. Without the P/S I probbaly saw like 10HP increase, but to have sore arms? Its not worth the pain. Hondas are typically lighter than Toyotas, thus eliminating P/S on them is already like driving with P/S.
