Im stuck and I dont know what to do next. I have a 95 St celica with 206k miles and I want to start modding my engine. I want to get a new replacement engine and then turbo it in the future but I dont know where to start. I have about 1600k to spend. Its not alot but do you think that will be enough to get myself a new 7afe engine or should I do something else?

Dr. Tweak is right about that. The 20v 4age is a great engine for the money IMO

You can probably source a complete 20v 4age silvertop with everything (AFM and "uncut" harness is a big must for the swap to make things cheaper) for maybe around $800-$1300 online. But I think someone on this forum was selling his complete 20v silvertop swap, I forgot who it was though. And Dr. Tweak will charge like $350-$400 to make the wiring conversion. If you can do the mechanics yourself it will save you alot of money. Only downside to the swap, though, is that you might have to sacrifice your p/s and a/c unless your willing to spend a bit more to redo your hoses and stuff. Well, all I can say is good luck and I hope that doing the swap will fit in your budget ![]() This post has been edited by netrata: Jul 30, 2006 - 7:37 PM -------------------- ![]() |
