Ok, so when i'm driving from a stopped position, and I get to shift (so about 2K/RPM) and I shift, I hear a clunk, not very loud, just enough to be noticed. It happens every time. It only started happening after I got the engine swapped. What could this be? I am bringing the car back to the shop where I got the work done for a checkup on Monday and this will definitly be addressed. Any thoughts? Cheers in advance.

sounds like a motor mount problem. take it back to the place that did the work

thanks for the info!

yeah def probably a motormount issue, while you are at it and replacing motormounts, fill the damned things up with Poly-Urethane to make them stronger & stiffer.....last longer too

if you want poly mounts... wait a few weeks and dont fill them. i found somone to make real poly inserts for our cars. i just finished installing the first set on my car and im testing them right now. if all is good, they will start to mass produce them for us very soon. they will work on any GT or swaped celica. biggrin.gif
