So who's the expert on this. I know that neverstop has done an AWD conversion. Would the only thing limiting this conversion with those parts be the length of the driveshaft? B/c I know people chop driveshafts all the time. You'd need a tranny, driveshaft, rear end, and driveshaft mount, and rear axles? Am I missing anything?

i think the driveshaft and rear ended are the same exact thing on the st185 as the 205. i dont have any facts to back this up, but the st185 ones i used to have looked exactly like what i see in pics of 205s. so i think it would be totally possible.
