just a thought....would the mr2 ecu make any diffrence in the way the celica 5s run? What about the tranny?

yea they are....but my cousin had a mr2. and those things act completly diffrent. i thought maybe they were geared up a lil diffrent or the ecu worked a lil diffrent.

It's because it's a midship and RWD... both are rated at 130-135 hp no? Gearing is the same, engine is mostly the same... but all in all... still the same thing.

the mr-2 is a little lighter as well i think.
