I was wonder how much you guys know about sniper rifles. Im looking to buy one and have about $4k to spend. What do you guys think is one of the better ones in that price brakcet?

not an M4
 an M40A1 huge difference. The M4 is a Carbine not a sniper rifle. But I must say nice choice of weaponry.

I figured u meant the M4A1, my knowledge on assult rifles and snipers are very limited, so i assumed the M40A1 and the M4A1 were the same. But we all know what assuming does :-p lol. I've always been a handgun man myself tho, I just recently became interested in snipers so Im still learning. And when I bought my M4 (about a year ago) I had a choice of an AR15, Ak47 (few different models) and a few different M4's. The M4 felt the best to shoot and was most accurate (to me atleast) -------------------- To live, is to suffer
