kindasad.gif Please help! I need some advice on a donor vehicle to repair a 94 GT. Due to an unfortunate incident, my son needs to replace all the sheetmetal and internal structure on the front of his 94 GT from the center of the front wheel well forward. The drivetrain is intact. Must the donor car be a GT also, or are there differences between the ST and GT in either the engine mounts, structure or electrical wiring? If using an ST would require modifications, I'll go with another GT for the donor. If there are no differences, the ST donor may be a bit cheaper, so please let me know which way to go. Almost forgot, sons car is an automatic, does it make any difference if the donor car is a 5 speed or auto? Thanks.

the body panels bumper and hood are all the same between the gt and the st. However the motor mounts are diffrent between the st and the gt. the best thing to do is to find a gt this way there isnt a problem with the motor mounts.

if u do have to with an st check out the FI/swaps and check out whats involved in droping a 3sgte into a st as the 3sgte mounts and the gt's 5sfe mounts are the same.
