I pull out of stop sign kinda "hard"...and halfway through 3rd i hear a horrible sickening rip and.. Drivers side Drive Axle: Gone Transmission: Gone How do i know? Peices of both are scattered up the road about 100 feet. ball bearings, nuts, bolts...the whole nine yards. Luckily, i have two parts cars.. its gonna be an all nighter folks. ill keep ya updated...gonna try to have it runnin by mornin.

I'm noob in cars, may I ask what happened? Or what caused your axel and transmission to go? Does it have anything to do with a bad CV joint?

I would say it has more to do with me wheel hopping the bejesus out of it and dropping the clutch all the time.  ive learned my lesson though. sadly enough, the boot in one of the drive axle's is cracked, and the other is rusted. So im going to buy a new one. *cough* 129.99 *cough* i have to pick it up tomarrow at Autozone.  . Mistakes happen for a reason, and I'm pretty sure most of the people here have had 'mistakes' like this before .....cough*neutraldropat6000rpms*cough hehe but that was in my old eclipse
