ive recently done a 205 conversion to my 202 GT but the fuel pump dosent seem to be working would anyone know why? and where is it situated?

what does the fuel pump resistor do? the wiring to mine is a little nicked and i was wondering what ill effects bypassing the resistor may have?

im not sure of this m8 as this is all new to me aswell but the resistor is there for a reason so im sure there will be some side effect im sure someone could help you
