Title says it all, all I have is my original starter, cleaned up. I'd like to have it reinstalled by this winter. Thanks for looking.

What is wrong with it?
Is it the coils?
Brushes?
Contacts?
What do you want replaced?

You seem like the guy I am looking for. I have no idea what's wrong with it. Maybe you could diagnose it for me? All I know that it was locked up (seized) bad enough that my car would not start even while tapping the housing.

I would like a complete rebuild so I never have to worry about it again.

As a quick fix, I bought an untouched oem starter from eBay for $50 shipped, and now that one is giving me problems.
