ball joints do NOT make wheels wobble back and forth...
![]() ball joints connect the control arms to the steering knuckle, this does not cause the wheel to wobble... if you jack up your car and with the lug nuts tight move you wheel in and out (grab the wheel at 9 and 3 and push in and out) if it moves your wheel (in relation to the steering knuckle) bearings ARE BAD....i've replaced 2 sets of bearings because of this if you let it go on for too long it will destroy your hub too and you'll have to get a new one This post has been edited by playr158: Aug 15, 2006 - 1:50 AM |
