I just purchased some Tein S-Tech lowering springs and was looking for professional installation but my price quote seemed a little high. I called the only place in my town that can do it and they said $344 for the installation. Does that seem a little high or about right? Also how hard is it to install them yourself? I read the article but didnt know if a compressor was really needed and about how long it would take an average joe to install them right.

Took me 2 1/2 hours total to do it. It's a fairly simply job, so I honestly wouldn't pay anyone more than about $200 tops for the install (about the going labor rate). FYI, you don't NEED a spring compressor. All I needed was simple hand tools. No air tools or anything.
