so yea...wheelspin all thru 1st and 2nd gear makes for a cool show for your friends...but super slow times at the track.
so, with that in mind (and the aweful though of ripping thru a set of michelins @ 175$ea..) i went ahead and ordered these: ![]() yup, BFG's contact patch is a tiny bit over 9" ![]() that alone should have a nice effect on traction, never mind the nice sticky compound. a couple more of the tread pattern, and sidewall. ![]() ![]() i figure if hyde can run 1.4 60ft. times with them, i should at least be able to improve traction somewhatlol if all goes as planned, i'll be seeing what the 5SFTE can do with TRACTION @ englishtown on the 18th ill be installing them on a set of stockers, and starting them @ ~20psi, lowering by a lb or 2 each run, till the 60's dont improve anymore. comments? sugesstions? discuss! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

the BFg's are great tire I have had both the BFG and the M/T ET street on my car and in my honest opinion I think that the ET's trac up alot better at the track,
BUT, at the cost of not gripping near as good on the street and they only lasted me 1/3 of the mileage that the BFG's did. Also the ET's do not grip at all if they come in contact with any water, as where the BFG's did grab OK if the roads get wet. in short... I think if you drive your car on them go with BFG if you just trailer car to track or don't care about mileage and car hardly ever see's rain go M/T just my experience -Daniel -------------------- If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle. Instant NASCAR!!!
