I looked through the howtos and see there is a write-up on making an accord cai fit on a celi gt. I've searched eBay and see alot that claim to fit the 6th gen. Has anybody personally bought and installed any of these intakes? The prices vary, and I'm willing to pay alittle bit more if they are that better. Thanks for your input!

QUOTE(phokur @ Aug 16, 2006 - 1:38 PM) I looked through the howtos and see there is a write-up on making an accord cai fit on a celi gt. Just go with the accord one. Thats what i did, along with many other members and its really simple and fits well. I had to widen the hole a little cause my piping was 2.75 in. as opposed to being 2.5 in. Sounds great and is cheap as hell. But if you really want to buy a CAI made for the 6th gen GT then go ahead. Im sure they fit perfect. But remember. Its just an intake. You can get the same gains by keeping the stock air box and dropping in a K&N filter, you just wont have the flashy bling in your engine bay. -------------------- Teh Celica sleeps for Winter '06.
