ok two questions, i need a cheap and easy recirc valve cause i dont really mind not having the cool sound, and id rather my car run as smoothly as possible..
my friend got one from forge motorsports, he really likes it, my question is whats the easiest and cheapest way to attatch a valve like this? get a piece of straight pipe and have a nipple pressed in? then connect the nipple to the BOV with a hose? im also thinking about the greddy rs, a little more expensive though. the stock BPV would be nice too but i dont think theres a clean and easy way to get that to work with my FMIC piping. |

Brian,
I've got one that would be perfect for you, it's a Bosch turbo bypass valve, basically the same thing you'd find on a Porche Turbo. It had a 1" inlet and outlet, so it's very easy to recirculate. In fact, all you have to do is drill and tap a 1" hose barb onto the intake charge pipe, one onto the turbo inlet pipe, and then connect the two 1" hoses. It's $75 shipped. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
