Hey guys.. need advice please!
I was repainting some of the engine parts last night for a show today, Repainted the valve cover, and a few of the fuse box covers.. well when I get back in the car the next morning.. it won't start. No click or anything. We thought it might be a dead battery, so we try jumping it but still nothing. Headlights come on and look bright so I think battery is fine. We then figure its the starter, so we pull it out and go to Advance Auto and they check it, say its bad. So I replace it. But still.. nothing. Then I noticed my Viper alarm isn't working at all.. looks like it has no power. So I find the wires that run to the ignition and find one for Starter Output, unplug that and still .. nothing.. so now i'm at a loss. If anyone knows what it could be or a way to help find the problem. PLEASE let me know! Thank you all! Update..
checked some fuses, found the 30amp AM2 fuse is blown (under the hood in right side panel) Stuck another in and it blew. Not sure what all that powers but at least its a start... any ideas or clues, let me know! Thanks! -------------------- ~Daniel~ No Longer Celica Owner.. moved on to a 03 WRX-EJ207

If your AM2 is blowing, which would definitely keep your car from starting, check the distributor and coil. |
