Hey all,
Fall is just arownd the corner and I was thnking I would disconnect the a/c and try to free up some more of the little engine power i have with the 7afe. Is the best way just to take off the belt? Would It even be worth it? If any one has done it i would love some pointers. thnx, SpooNr -------------------- ![]() |

The 7afe is considered a underpowered engine, and if you remove the belt you won't notice any dramatic change in performance. Also, to ensure that your car's a/c system doesn't mess up you'll have to run your a/c at least once a month. So it would be pointless to keep putting your belt on and off every month just to make sure you a/c still works. And another thing, you'll still have to put another belt for your alternator.
