Hey all,
Fall is just arownd the corner and I was thnking I would disconnect the a/c and try to free up some more of the little engine power i have with the 7afe. Is the best way just to take off the belt? Would It even be worth it? If any one has done it i would love some pointers. thnx, SpooNr -------------------- ![]() |

are you wanting to take the compressor off and everything? or just "disconnect it". bc if you want to take the compressor off, you will be needing a new belt..also, it's just as fine to just not run the A/C when you want the "extra power"...

When we did it in my friend beemer we took the whole thing out. I cant remmeber if we put in a new a belt or not. After, we could definitely feel the difference between when the A/C was OFF and when we took out the whole unit. Neways I could take out the comp but i was wonder if i could short cut that and get the same bennies. If not, I would love to hear from someone who has acctually done it.
