Anyone heared about the HBM supercharger. I found it on ebay and I am in contact with them on the possible fitment to my 3s-ge engine.

Here's the link to ebay

It looks like it could accually work. It wouldn't produce as much boost as a real turbo but still. Might have to upgrade your alternator or tweak it to produce more power. Plus you would probably guzzle gas like a mofo, and maybe loose a battery or 2 much quicker than you'd think.

Thats my thoughts

I read it some more. If you look at the text more "A 2000CC ENGINE WILL ONLY REQUIRE 7HP FROM THE CRANK TO MAKE 5-6 PSI, SO VIRTUALLY NO PARASITIC LOSSES MEANS A HUGE AMOUNT OF POWER WHEN BOOSTING." ya for a big ol' engine like that sure no loss but your only going to get around 5 PSI boost. As I quote again "THE STANDARD SETUP IS DESIGNED FOR 5 PSI, BUT WITH SIMPLE PULLEY AND BEARING UPGRADES BOOST LEVELS OF **12-15 PSI CAN BE REACHED." So 2000 bucks for 5 psi.. Uhh no scam.
