So I am always checking the meet/event board and hoping to see something that is close, and I have yet to see anything!
So how many people on this site are in Western Canada? Is there enough of us that we might get some interest for a possible meet? Thought I would throw the idea out there just to get an idea of numbers and hear what people have to say. This post has been edited by WALKER: Aug 21, 2006 - 8:14 PM -------------------- |

Thanks, I like to keep things "low-key".
This was the car's first highway run on the new drivetrain. I hope I don't get a ticket from the launch we did at the first lights coming back into town.(At the last second we saw phot-radar parked at the corner.... ). As for the performance, Walker seemed to have no troubles matching me until I hit about 3500rpm. I noticed that I have to keep an eye on myself now. I ALWAYS have to slow down. The new motor wants to GO.....I am slowly pushing the top end up as I test things out. The speedo goes to 245km/hr and I have been to about 180 so far. I had the speedo pegged a few times with the old motor. It was an effort to get it there and this new motor seems to want to live in that range. -------------------- ![]() 1994 GT-S (BEAMS) swap complete |
