Ok, I'm sure the 7age discussion has come up before.
Putting a 4age head on the 7afe block, blah, blah, blah... I'm in the process of doing this and things are going smoothly and now I running into a snag. I read that you should replace the water pump of the 7afe with the 4age water pump. OK, well the pulley on the 4age doesn't hold a dual belt pulley. The 7afe does and I can't change the two out because the bolt holes don't line up. Anyone had this problem before? |

There's quite a bit more to worry about besides the waterpump pulley. The 7AFE and 4AGE (16V) route waterlines completely different. The pump pulley is just the start...
