Found it duct taped in the passenger rear panel next to the jack... It had a wire run under the carpet into the harness that connected it to the little light behind the rear shock on the driver side.

I unplugged everything I could and gently set it in the other room...
Been trying to reach the owner, he won't pick up or return my calls. haha, I've heard about "buying others people's problems" when buying a used car... I just never thought these "problems" would be the Feds comming after me.
