Hello, I'm from Spain and I'm going to prepare my Celica 6gen GT 2.0 16v 175hp 3S-GE for rallys (sorry for my english, there is a lot of vocabulary that I don't control about cars)

I'm trying to find a short gearbox for my car but I can't. I've found for the GT4 version, but I supose that it can't fit on mine.

Let me explain to you. I'don't know exactly how to call this. What I'm looking for is not the complete gearbox, it's just the pieces inside of it for making the gears shorter (at this moment the second gear goes to 100km/h and I want it to go to 80km/h) Do you know what I mean?

Thanks a lot!

Even with the ST205 gearbox you will end up going about 95km/h in 2nd gear. Its 110km/h in 2nd gear BTW if you go up to 7200 RPM on the 3S-GE

The only thing you can do to go a bit shorter is getting a USA GT transmission. It has a shorter Final Drive , the gears itself are the same. It was also used on Toyota Camry's with the 2.2 Liter 5S-FE block.

Final Drive Ratio US GT: 4.176
Final Drive Ratio EU GT: 3.944

It should give about 5-7 procent difference in speed.
