MY timing belt ripped a couple months back. Midas charged me 700. But the thing was they kept replacing other parts that wasn't neccesary like a new distributor and spark plugs and oil change and etc. They even tried to replace the water pump which I had no problems with the water pump. I stopped them otherwise my bill would have been 1200. But they charged me for everything overall 900. And they also gave me an extra 50 miles? The hell? Did they take my car for a joy ride?!?
