QUOTE(DeathWing @ Aug 23, 2006 - 10:27 PM) ya ive read If you need to replace the turbo or the turbo manifold, any SR20DET manifold will work, aswell as any stock sr turbo. You can pickup decent SR manifolds and DP's on ebay for like $300. If you decide to go that way, go out and get them ceramic coated right away. QUOTE(DeathWing @ Aug 24, 2006 - 6:40 PM) im catually confused between these ![]() and these ![]() both show as 180sx its different tail light stile or different car? thouse tail lights are the kouki tail lights, offered on 94+ models of the s13 platform. If you decide to go with thouse tail lights, you have to use a new wiring harness witch you have to cut and splice into the original one, the center peice has to be replaced along with the lock. So you will have 1 key for the igntion and doors and a seperate one for the hatch. easy install to do, i did a set on my buddys 180sx a few weeks ago. QUOTE(DeathWing @ Aug 25, 2006 - 11:44 AM) actual pics...this is gonna need some exterior work yay ![]() ![]() ![]() im also concerned about the turbo, the guy told me that "it looks like" the turbo was taken away (the guy is noob at cars and stuff), so im seeing if a skyline turbo can fit it well a turbo off a RB26, can bolt up to an OEM manifold, but wont produce too much boost. My buddy tryed it on his KA24DET project. better option is either stock SR20 turbo or a T3. CA18s arent ment to produce big boost as is. They will handel it, but they struggel to make it. If you are just gonna run OEM internals, you probably wouldnt be able to spool any thing bigger than a t3. |
